Months ago Nancy and I agreed to change things up and travel for Christmas as well as to expand our celebration of this time of year to include the solstice. This does not feel like a rejection of the Christmas holiday, just a distancing from the trappings of expectations and commercialization to reexamine it.

Karma – Immerse yourself in the energy of your decisions.
I experienced myself this morning as being white light, not being in the light as before but made up of light at my core. I am a creator of my thoughts, my world, my self. All of this exists outside the ball of white light that I am. To experience it fully, part of me moves from the center of this white light to other levels of energy, color and existence. I live mostly in the violet, indigo and blue spheres of light. Yet, part of me always remains white light.
My wife and I talk in the morning about Love & Fear and remind one another that everything we think, see and do comes from one of these places. These two fundamental energies of life can also be seen as Creation & Chaos. They represent the choice we make every day of how to live our lives – creating what we want or allowing chaos us envelop us.

3 of Pentacles – self knowledge through building
At the beginning of this meditation, I felt more centered than ever in the middle of white light as if floating inside an all white sphere. I was not only in the sphere, but part of the energy as well. Outside of this sphere was the 3D world with its colors of the rainbow and chakras that are focal points of energy. This feeling reminded me of earlier meditations when I found myself within a circular waterfall that separated me from a creature who I could see was trying to get inside. I learned later this creature was one of my spirit guides.
Immediately following my meditation, I downloaded a smartpnone app, Stanza, that should have taken me 15 minutes but took an hour. I remained centered and focused on this task. Eventually, I learned how to do it and felt that persistence had overcome my usual need for perfection. Perfection by nature is almost always impossible to achieve so persist in what you have set yourself to do and perfection will follow.

Writing and posting Cosmic Clips suddenly came to mind as something I want and need to do. Tasks were also assigned: writing down the current wording of my meditations, learning what organs are associated with each chakra, and drawing my symbols for each of the chakras.

The difficulty in “holding my course” was very evident last night. While I set aside time to write in the evening, I allowed the time to pass by delaying beginning and trying to send pictures by email. I was unable to do so because of a problem with my WiFi connection and I allowed myself to become frustrated. I finally went to bed at 10:30 after falling asleep on the couch staring at my computer screen. The message for today clearly says the temptation to avoid writing will continue.

The colors of the chakras are less intense again today. I believe the faint colors are a reflection of my lack of focus.

My meditation consisted of breathing – putting on my cloak – and then centering myself in white light to be in a receptive state and listen. My attention focused on the variety of ways to receive messages. They are numerous: my body (ears tingling, frustration, relaxation), animals (birds, my dog, Lola), colors in the environment or my mind, a song, a conversation with someone, light or wind in the environment, the Tarot and persistent images held in my mind.
One occurred as I was typing. Suddenly, my cursor was eliminating the next space after inserting the letter I was typing. My first response was to be upset and panic about fixing it because of the interruption it would cause in my schedule. My experience has been that this type of problem takes a long time to resolve. Instead of continuing in this state of mind, I relaxed, asked the Cosmos to guide me and instantly “saw” for the first time a link at the bottom of the screen: INSRT. I don’t usually select links I know nothing about but in this instance felt comfortable doing so. My “issue” was resolved by an example of listening to the Cosmos and creating the world I want.

The sense of Cosmos replaces that of Universe and I’m surprised now it’s taken this long for this development. The Cosmos made itself available to me yesterday and with its messages guides me along the steps along my path. I am grateful.
Create a space for what you want in your life. Reach out to special people you know. If you do not pay attention to your body and the messages it has for you, you will have no way to ground what you experience in this world.

Message for today
Ignored the Fool yesterday and find myself today swirling around as if I was swept off a beach by a large wave. Today’s energy is not negative. It seems chaotic and unpredictable. Several times, I’ve been overwhelmed – wrestling with my intended schedule, unintentionally deleting info from my computer, college teaching assignments. Pausing and just breathing helped me get centered again.
Three times during the day, I was completely overwhelmed with all of the possibilities available to me, so much so, that I had to refocusing my feelings and thoughts each time by becoming more fully aware of what was going on in me and meditating – doing my Practice even more clearly and intently.
I also realized that I have to step it up to be aware of the messages being made available to me and centered to decipher and use them to change my daily behavior. As a result, some things just have to go – reading the online news, taking an hour to make and eat breakfast or lunch watching TV to relax before going to sleep and I’m sure other behaviors and routines I’m not yet aware of – to monitor whether they are supporting or impeding my traveling my path.
