Archive for February, 2012

Each of the experiences mentioned in my February 20 post are fleeting. They overwhelm us with feelings of wonder, joy and love yet quickly dissipate or fade into the background of the next and immediate set of feelings which carry us along on the river of life that continually flows towards us. Consider the special Christmas gift we’ve wanted without directly asking for that suddenly appears in our hands. The surprise, gratitude and happiness of it is intense and can be momentarily overwhelming. In a moment we find words of thankfulness, experience the love contained in eye contact and a nod, and then go on to the next experience that captures our attention and sweeps us up in excitement. Why is it that we choose not to linger in this moment a while longer and decide to discard it? Oh, we may remember it brightly for a long time yet this is a solitary experience that is a shadow of our initial one and in no way compares to the heart felt intensity of the original moment.

Go back to experience of opening that Christmas gift and realizing in that moment what the experience is. Is it not a sign that you are understood and loved not just by the gift giver but the world? For the person who thought of you, who learned enough about you to discover your secret wish is not only part of your life but your world. This gift came to you because you could imagine it, the energy of your thoughts and feelings was alive out in the material world, someone made it perhaps for you to see to know that you wanted it but perhaps in response to your thoughts, and put it up for sale, the giver of the gift spent time and energy to find it for you.

This feeling and this realization is acknowledged in the moment but quickly discarded so we can go on with the routines and expectations of our lives. Picture what would happen if we did not do this. We would be giddy with joy, effusive in our thankfulness, out of our seat and dancing, oblivious to what was now happening in the room and what others were doing or wanted to do. Someone would soon say something to “calm us down,” to “bring us back to earth,” “bring us to our senses,” “remind us of what was expected,” “remind us of time,” or in many other ways interrupt our experience and let it go. And in nearly all of these moments we would discard our feelings. Yet, we would also lose the most precious part of them, the part that is ephemeral, fleeting, life altering because we do not have a place except our memories to store them.

The most important question then seems to be: Do we want to continue to do this?

First Matter – Some Questions

Posted by: Blogger    in Igniting Transformation

My post about First Matter on February 20 identified what I believe are the types of experiences that lead to the creation of the Stone. There is still a long way to go. There are important questions to consider. Like:

How do we distill these experiences and retrieve something significant and meaningful from them?

Are our thoughts, feelings, experiences of the material world the essence of the Stone?

Are we a necessary part of the alchemical laboratory? Could its wondrous results happen without us?

What is the common experience that can be preserved from all of these experiences?

Is this experience common to people across time and cultures?

First Matter

Posted by: Blogger    in Igniting Transformation

Just what is this “First Matter” of the alchemists? It’s a very important question that we must ask ourselves over and over.

It has many names because its expression in our material world is endless; it is not a thing we can pick up and measure but an experience we often realize and then discard. It is the face of your new born baby for the first time, the loving sexual experience you have imagined as the ultimate, being surprised by opening the Christmas gift you have always wanted, the absolute, wonderful, terrifying experience of doing something brave and foolish, the feeling of truly letting go – of everything, turning your life over to your next experience, a musical note that reminds you of all that is good about this life, a puppy looking you directly in the eye with happiness and trust, the experience of a star filled night sky and what that means, someone else experiencing the achievement of a lifelong effort, your horse winning the race after stumbling out of the starting gate, experiencing love returned for love given, the taste of a strawberry that is more sweet and more intense than you’ve ever imagined, seeing your family together and completely content. The question to consider and answer is why do we discard this experience? Why do we let it go without savoring and understanding it; without making it a forever part of ourselves in the moment it occurs? Could it be that our spiritual, mental and physical bodies are not able to hold it? If so, could it be that each time we experience this Prima Materia it is an opportunity to stretch so far that we leave a space within us to save and nuture a part of this wonder?

Daily Messages

Posted by: Blogger    in December 21, 2012

I’ll be honest…organizing and sharing the messages received during the last month and a half has been challenging for me and I believe confusing for you. Over the last several days, I’ve edited and reorganized the Pages related to December 21, 2012 in an attempt to make them easier to read. I’ll continue to do so as I discover how best to use them to alter my life. This is a work in progress, so feedback – positive or negative – is welcome.

The Stone of the World

Posted by: Blogger    in A Reluctant Alchemist

My experience with a daily practice is very powerful. The ability to relax, get grounded and be more aware of the nuances of my experiences, depth of my emotions and messages flowing to me is almost addictive. Like physical exercise, it takes time and the rationalizations for putting it off or skipping it altogether are numerous. But, as is so with exercise, there is a point in time if it is not repeated, it is missed.

Yet, today, I felt the urge to change up my morning Practice and let the routine go. After breathing to become centered and grounded, I let go of the mantras and decrees and remained floating in the experience of a circle of white light. Focusing on this experience, memories, thoughts, remnants of to do lists an imaginings slipped by until a distinctly, new experience emerged.

The picture that came through was a view of the world evolving through each of the seven phases of alchemy. Having thought about this concepts many times previously, it did not seem new or revelatory until I focused on the utterly billions of of individual phases occurring simultaneously. An alchemist, alone in her or his laboratory, goes through these seven phases sequentially, essentially one at a time. Yet, many alchemists are experiencing the seven phases at the same time and, in doing so, are calling forth similar, but individualized, responses from the Above. In some form of synchronicity, the billions of individuals who inhabit the world knowingly, or without any insight, are participating in the phases of cycles of the Above. Their daily experiences and choices affect in whatever minor way the response of the Above because each individual is an aspect of the Below. The maxim: “As Above, So Below; As Below, So Above” responds to each of the thoughts, feelings, wishes, resolutions, regrets – the entirety of experiences – of all individuals simultaneously. The Stone therefore is the awareness and merging of all of these experiences.

I’m left with the question: How is this possible?

Daily Messages

Posted by: Blogger    in December 21, 2012

The daily messages I received between January 21 and February 6 are available in a new Pages document posted today.

While my belief that this information is important to share in order to provide an understanding of what it means to live the Practice, the display of these messages can be reorganized to make their flow more clear and I will do this.

A Shift in Awareness

Posted by: Blogger    in December 21, 2012

A shift happened today. An essential part of the Practice is staying awake each day and being aware of messages as they come from the Cosmos. These messages are in the same flow with memories, thoughts, feelings and reactions to events happening throughout each of our days. Finding a way to sort these experiences, identify and capture messages as they happen moment to moment is essential. Today, I was able to begin recording them in my own voice and translating them into written notes using my smartphone as they happen. Real time acknowledgement and recording of the messages from the Cosmos to be analyzed and digested later has increased the rate of my transformation exponentially..

Self Assessment & Self Awareness

Posted by: Blogger    in December 21, 2012

While my intent has been, and still is, to post every day to this blog, that has happened only twice since Jan 20 – a period of 15 days. My Practice has continued uninterrupted. Each day has begun with my mediation, decrees and the drawing of a Tarot card. The sharing of what has transpired during each day has not. So the Work has continued but has not been shared which is a significant element of the Practice. So, what are the results? I can tell you definitively that the messages from the Cosmos have not been as frequent or as clear. They will be shared in an update to the December 21, 2012 Page in the next two days and you will see for yourself. And, what are the next steps? My take is that rather than analyzing what are the anchors, walls and structures that restricted my sharing I will begin again to share my daily experiences with the results of my Practice. In the end, I believe the results of that awareness and openness are more important than discovering why it does not happen sometimes.

I ask that you, my visitor, be patient with me and with yourself.

We Just Need to be Awake

Posted by: Blogger    in December 21, 2012

Today, I paid attention to a very subtle message and received a powerful confirmation of my beliefs about the changes coming our way in 2012.

I‘ve been on Mitch Battros’ email newsletter Earth Changes Media list for many years now. During this time, I’ve come to appreciate his perspective on the changes that are happening in the world. His voice and his message are unique because he’s built a bridge between the information given us by science and mythology. His book, Solar Rain, is groundbreaking. It places him at the center of a heated and many times antagonistic debate. This debate is an ongoing one among believers in climate change based on human behavior and believers who see the causes as astronomical variances beyond our control or ability to influence. Giving credit due to both sides of the issue, Mitch firmly placed himself in the unexplored territory between these two seemingly separate and irreconcilable positions. What captured my attention and imagination was his insistence that since our DNA is made up of the same elements as the stars and planets, we are undergoing the same rapid change and development we see in our solar system and our planet’s environment. If you listen carefully to what he has to say, it is easy to see that he is one of the first advocates of changing the debate from how is our planet changing to how are we changing.

Many of his emails are deleted before being read because I believe Mitch’s message and they express what I already know from my experience. But one that came to my inbox on January 25 resisted my effort to delete it and stayed unread until I “remembered” it now. I’m thankful that the Cosmos stayed my finger from selecting “Delete” until I was ready to hear his message. It was simple and provocative. Here’s how it touched me.

When Mitch’s second child was born on January 14, he saw a glow around his daughter as she lay on his wife’s chest. He experienced this as a “nesting spherical” which he saw as living energy and believed this energy to be present to help transition his child, Sophia, into the plane of human existence. Based on the experience and information from his life’s work, Mitch also saw this energy as “a plasma field of charged particles” which we usually describe as a miracle. And, according to him, our experience of such a ”field” is how ancient peoples like the Mayans see the next life and world changing transition taking place. According to Mitch, the action of super charged particles is the basis of transformative change happening over a short period of time: minutes or hours and perhaps longer.

My experience resonates with what Mitch Battros is saying. And, I believe the changes are already upon us. They’ve been taking place for years – two possibly as long as five. We are actually in the middle of this period of transformative change that will peak on December 21, 2012 and continue afterwards. Yes it’s scary and yes the transition is difficult. To pass through this time we have to embrace it. We have to wake up, become aware of who we are and let go of what is holding us in old forms and structures. This is what the information posted in this blog and especially the Page: December 21, 2012 is about.

I invite you to recognize your transformation that is taking place now.
